Our Sunday School is a place for children age 3 and older, youth, and adults to grow in relationship with God and each other. We are a family seeking and finding the "Presence of God" in our lives through Bible Study, prayer, laughter, and having fun. With God's help, we hope to be reflections of this Presence to a hurting world. Sometimes, we have good stuff to eat, too! Everyone is welcome to come as you are.
Our church's "Safe Sanctuaries" policies strive for the protection of children and vulnerable adults with background checks and training for volunteers and paid staff.
The adult class is Co-Ed. We have holy humor, serious prayers & concerns and Bible study that encourages class participation. At the present time we are studying Romans, verse by verse, with lively discussion. Anyone is invited to come and join us. A welcome awaits you.
We have fire drills to assure safe evacuation of the building in times of crisis. The offering from the last Sunday of each month is given directly to Heifer International, which gives money to purchase "seed animals" that give food and reproduce in countries burdened by poverty. We are trying to help people help themselves.
We have Fun Days during the Easter and Christmas seasons in which the children of our church and the community can get together for songs, crafts, Bible stories and games. We have Vacation Bible School for 5 days in July. All are welcome for our Bible-based stories, crafts, songs, snacks and games. The J.O.Y. (Jesus, Others, Yourself) group meets throughout the summer and provides the community children with continual Christian interaction. We have a very active Youth Group that has many projects and activities for our young people.
Please call during office hours to talk to Jean or Pastor Mark with any questions.
